Members and Endorsers

NYCCLI MembersNYCCLI Members agree with the principal aims, objectives, tactics, and mission of the alliance and are active in one or more workgroups. Membership is open to organizations and individuals with a track record of working for social and economic justice in low income communities of color, and who are engaged in community organizing, affordable housing development, CLTs, community planning, access to public space, urban gardening, and the like. Members must fall into one of the following categories:  (1) organizations; (2) individuals affiliated with educational institutions; and (3) people actively working to create and support CLTs in their neighborhoods. Interested in joining NYCCLI as an organization or individual?

NYCCLI Endorsers are organizations and individuals that support NYCCLI’s mission and work, but do not actively engage in the alliance’s work and/or meet the membership criteria.  Endorsers may include, for example, elected officials, government agencies, and individuals unaffiliated with an organization or CLT effort.
